As a certified SAFE-EBIKE rider, I choose to protect myself, my friends, and my community.
By signing this pledge, I commit to riding responsibly, respectfully, and with awareness every time I get on an e-bike

S — Control my SPEED & give space

I will ride at safe speeds and keep enough distance to stop when needed.

A — Stay ALERT & distraction-free

I will stay focused, ride sober, and avoid anything that takes my eyes or mind off the road.

F — FOLLOW the rules of the road

I will obey traffic laws, signals, and signs—because e-bikes are vehicles.

E — Check my EQUIPMENT before every ride

I will make sure my brakes, tires, helmet, lights, and battery are ready.

E — Make sure EVERYONE can see me

I will use lights, reflectors, and clear signals so that I’m visible day and night.

B — BE a defensive rider

I will ride predictably, scan for hazards, and assume drivers may not see me.

I — INDICATE my intentions clearly

I will signal my turns and communicate with other road users.

K — Show KINDNESS & courtesy

I will share the road, respect pedestrians, and never carry extra passengers.

E — EXPECT the unexpected

I will be prepared for obstacles, car doors, weather changes, and sudden stops.
